Nomadix Travel Towels– Always bring a towel. Don’t think twice about jumping in the lake, spending the night, or heading to the beach. You’re ready.
Mission Workshop Hauser Pack – This pack is waterproof, looks great, and has all the right pockets. You can also clip your helmet to the exterior so you don’t have to carry it. I fit my 15″ macbook pro in this everyday, even though it wasn’t designed for that.
North Face Dryzzle Jacket – A lightweight, GoreTex shell that packs down small. Bright colors increase visibility to motorists. Heavily tested in the rainy mountains of Colombia through downpours, minor crashes, and spilled coffee. There is no downside to throwing this in your pack.
Oakley Latch Sunglasses – Casual shades from a performance brand – When your Jawbreakers feel too aggressive for the pool party, these are the back up.
Kryptonite Evolution LITE Mini-6 & Alley F-275 & Avenue R-19Lights – Top of the line security and lights in a small package.
Crank Brothers F10+ Tool + klic hv gauge + co2 – This is a slick, lightweight set to always carry with you. The magnetic F10+ case and hidden magnetic hose with pressure gauge are excellent touches. We have matching Crank Brothers pedals of course.
Mizu M8 Bottle – Because water.
Vargo Titanium 450 Travel Mug + Titanium Eagle Spork – This is the kit you need to avoid Starbucks cups and disposable plastic silverware. These are crazy light, bombproof, and two of the most important things you can carry to avoid everyday plastic pollution.
Leatherman Skeletool CX – A knife and pliers with a few extra tricks up its sleeve. This is just the basics, and less weight than other more full-featured tools.
Bose QuietComfort 20 Headphones – Serenity now. Don’t ride with these, but they are life-changing at airports and coffee shops.
Apple iPhone with Topeak RideCase + QuickClip – Have you been attaching your phone with a fancy rubber band? Just… stop it.
Ride with GPS – Reliable GPS, great route planning features, exportable to Strava, and my battery lasts all day while on airplane mode. This is the go-to for bikepacking.
goTenna – Unless you have a strong walkie-talkie program in place, goTenna is your best bet for communicating off the grid. If you travel abroad, camp, ski, or bike, you are going to lose communication with your friends. This is how you reunite without spending your next month’s salary on roaming data.
